Fruerlundgaard x Horaizon: Multilingual Farm Manuals on Helios and Hub

How a Danish farm operation made every SOP readable in every worker's language, on Horaizon Helios and Hub.

Fruerlundgaard is a working Danish farm. Its manuals and standard operating procedures sit in binders and shared drives, written in the language of whoever wrote them last. The team on the ground speaks many languages, and doesn't always match the language of the paperwork.

Fruerlundgaard onboarded onto Horaizon Helios and Horaizon Hub so every worker could ask a manual anything, in any language, and get an answer grounded in the actual SOP.

Fruerlundgaard on Helios and Hub. Farm-floor manuals, in every worker’s language.

The manuals were there. The workers couldn't read them.

A farm this size runs on procedure. Feed cycles, chemical handling, machinery start-up, animal welfare protocols, safety-critical routines. There is a written procedure for almost everything.

In practice, the procedures were only readable by whoever's language they were written in. A worker who spoke Ukrainian or Polish or Romanian had to ask someone else, guess, or skip the manual entirely.

None of that is a problem you fix with better binders.

Helios, trained on the actual SOPs

Horaizon Helios is a custom AI chat trained on the knowledge you give it. We pointed it at Fruerlundgaard's own manuals, SOPs, and operational documents. It answers in whichever language the worker types.

The answers stay grounded in the source material. Helios cites the underlying SOP so a worker or a manager can see exactly which document a given answer came from.

Hub for owners and managers

Horaizon Hub sits behind Helios as the control plane. It is where Fruerlundgaard's owners connect sources, upload new SOPs, adjust how content is chunked and retrieved, and see what the team is actually asking.

The questions coming in reveal things the paperwork can't: procedures that are missing, procedures that are outdated, procedures that everyone asks about but no one wrote down. Hub makes those gaps visible.

What changes on the farm

The Fruerlundgaard team can ask a question about a machine, a chemical, a procedure, or a safety step and get an answer in their own language, grounded in the actual manual.

New workers ramp up without waiting for someone bilingual to be free. Owners see what the team is asking, where the manuals are thin, and what needs to be written down properly.
